  One of the best places to eat outside and drink in the mountain views of Hanalei. Stick with the Brazilian foods and you can't go wrong. Neida was our waitress, we were eating a very late lunch at 4pm, after a fabulous day at Ke'e Beach. The timing was right for happy hour too. Understand that all food in Hanalei is expensive - shave ice is $6-$8, and a chicken plate with mac salad from Chicken In a Barrel will still set you back $11+. At Neide's, you get a solid meal, beautiful views, that Hanalei peacefulness, and no fumes from the bumper-to-bumper street traffic.

  Beautiful area and a fantastic view of the mountains, waterfalls from their deck. I stopped in there to get a beer while my family was shopping in Hanalei. I went inside where a few customers were at the bar, I stood quietly waiting for the male bartender to acknowledge me. He ignored me for a few minutes and then finally rudely asked me what I wanted. I said I just wanted a beer and he informed me I couldn't just walk around with it. Told him I just wanted to sit in the shade, enjoy the view and have a cold one. Finally got my drink.
  I'm pretty thick skinned but this guy was over the top bad for someone who's supposed to be in the service business.
